Turbot, leek sauce, potato and olive oil
Turbot, leek sauce, potato and olive oil
It is part of the series of works that refer to the most contemporary cuisine. A dish of mediterranean flavor, color and soft brushstroke. The turbot, the main component of the dish, has a white and slightly pink meat that contrasts with its mottled skin. A leaf of parsley presides over each of the very thin slices of potato. With a mild and slightly spicy flavor, it gives a touch of color and joy. The corrected perspective of the potato slices conveys a feeling of weightlessness and lightness. It is like a walk in the clouds. A visual experience of taste sensations.
I have painted this digital work with an MS Surface. I have used techniques analogous to those of traditional painting, using only the types of brushes and paints that the software offers me.
